Celebrate Bastille Day in Tucson at LeRendez-vous French Restaurant

Bastille Day is just around the corner. There’s the 4th of July coming soon but, of course, LeRendez-vous is more excited about celebrating July 14.

The French National Day is celebrated in our country as the Bastille Day. It’s a special day to commemorate the start of French Revolution, with the Storming of the Bastille, which happened on July 14, 1789. We know the whole of France will be busy celebrating that day with a huge military parade, enjoyable food, and great wine.

In the United States, more than 50 cities hold annual celebrations of the Bastille Day in different ways. In Tucson, Arizona, the best way to celebrate is by dining at LeRendez-vous where the best French cuisine is served.

LeRendez-vous offers authentic award-winning French cuisine in the greater Tucson community. We’d be glad to welcome you at our restaurant to celebrate Bastille Day.

You can start off with anything from our Small Plate Menu. Try our Pan Seared Scallop or Mussels with white wine cream herb broth. For the more adventurous, we have Frog Legs with Provencal tomatoes, Shrimp stuffed with crab, and Seared Salmon in lemon, aoli, and dill crustini.

For the vegetarians, choose from our Les Salades menu. Try our popular Salade Le Rendez-Vous of mixed greens, carrot, red onion, and cucumber, tossed with house vinaigrette. Or you can try any of our Les Potages offerings: Baked French onion soup, Cold potato and leek soup, and the basic Soupe de Jour (Soup of the day).

If you’re bent on celebrating Bastille Day big, we have our House Specialties. Each dish is served with Anna potatoes and veg du jour. We have Saumon Le Rendez-vous (Pan seared Atlantic salmon with an orange basil cream sauce),  Crab and vegetable stuffed shrimp with Beurre blanc, Saint-Jacques (Pan-seared jumbo scallops over roasted garlic aioli), and Mignons de Veau au Calvados (Veal medallions with caramelized apples and apple brandy demi-glace) among others.

If you just want to relax after a long day, you’re welcome to wind down and choose from our wine selection and signature cocktails.

I could go on and on tempt you by describing each of our dishes but you have to experience it for yourself by checking out this French restaurant. We’re known to be one of the best places to eat in Tucson and Bastille Day is the perfect time to try our menu.

Please visit LeRendez-vous French Restaurant at 3844 E. Fort Lowell (corner of Ft. Lowell & Alvernon). See you!
